Piggy, a potbelly pig, joined our family for Alyvia’s 13th birthday. Piggy loves belly rubs and will roll over for you to get just the right spot. She was a great addition to the farm, but needed a friend, so we bought Wiggly. They became quick friends, and suddenly were family of 9. After gifting 5 piglets to some new farmer friends, they decided to grow their family again, so we now have 7 pigs, and this story will continue.
Pigs
The pigs will eat any tables scraps we and the neighbors give them, but we feed them twice each day with pig feed so they receive the appropriate nutrients.
Their medical care consists of dewormer every 6-8 weeks; and hoof, teeth care, and medication as needed.
